Héctor Koa began his musical journey at the age of 8 on his native island of Ibiza. He completed 16 years of classical music training at renowned conservatories in Madrid, Amsterdam, and New York. From a young age, his curiosity for world music and his desire to learn to play any type of instrument and musical style led him to collect hundreds of instruments of all kinds. The classical world provided him with all the necessary knowledge and technique, but feeling that something important was missing, he began to explore an inward musical path, a journey toward self-knowledge and self-awareness.
